I think 3D printing as a craft is more so about the technology that allows it to be possible. It does not take that much creativity to simply “Print” something out; but the creation of the devices that make it possible and the programs that aid it, that, I think is the real art form. I like the sequence of your prezi as well, it was very effective in communicating your idea.
Surely the 3D modelling would be the crafting part, not the printing? Or can 3D modelling only be considered crafting *because* you can print it? Semantics?
